Hey Mama! Ready to become a
New Mom Boss?
Get ready for your baby without Googling yourself into worry paralysis.
Hi! I'm Kallista, and I can help you!
Whether you have always been a mom (like me) or you were not sure you wanted to be a mom, you need all the preparation you can get before the baby arrives.
Because man oh man, when that precious baby gets here, you will hit the ground running, and it will be the hardest (but the best) adjustment of your life.
I am a Registered Nurse, Certified Lactation Counselor, and (my fave) a mom of three. I started New Mom Boss to help first time moms like you, who need help figuring out what to do to get ready for the baby.
From what you really need for the registry, to preparing your nursery, as well as your relationship, breastfeeding, sleep training and more, I got you covered.
I believe more preparation before the baby arrives, will decrease the stress and anxiety over being a new mom. You will feel more ready and confident, which will help increase the bond with your baby, and allow you to enjoy new motherhood much more.
I had my first two kids 13 months apart, so I became a fast expert on being a new mom. And after some time I realized that all the things I learned could be passed on to others and alleviate a lot of the unknowns about being a new mom.
Of course everyone is different and will experience motherhood in a unique way. But so many of the steps to prepare and the basic knowledge are the same, and there is no need to reinvent the wheel!

If you’re a first time mom, a working pregnant mama, or transitioning from one child to two who wants to get ready for your precious baby with as little stress as possible, then you already know that you need a game plan and get that plan going like yesterday.
I know it's hard to ask for help. Especially in something like this, becoming a mom. After all, being a mom is a job that has existed for forever, so it should be a piece of cake right? But why does it make you feel a little anxious and a little worried? Because you're going to do something you've never done before, and it's a job you cannot quit.
We live in a time where help is not readily available, with families spread out everywhere, where everyone is busy working, and the "village" that is going to help you raise your baby probably needs to be curated still.
New motherhood will be a learning curve, for sure. But you get to shape how steep it is. Learning and preparing ahead of time will decrease the learning curve!
