A note from Kallista

You may have heard the stories about how hard it was in the first few months with the baby from other moms. And although it is true that the newborn phase can be challenging, it can be a lot less challenging than people know.

I know this because I had babies thirteen months apart. I am the planning and organizing type, and I thought I prepared everything the first time.

But I was wrong.

No one told me what I REALLY needed to know. It’s nice to have a Pinterest worthy nursery, and the most adorable clothes, but that wasn’t what my baby, husband, and most importantly what I truly needed.

I learned by trial and error. And luckily I got really good at preparing for a baby with my second, and then shared how I did it with friends and family.

Now I get to share it with moms-to-be all over the world.
