The motherhood journey is nothing if not emotional. As moms, we feel ALL the feels - the good, the bad, and the ugly. This all takes a major toll on our bodies!
But not only are the new emotions affecting our bodies, but old emotions from the past could also be clinging to us. And when the two are combined, it can cause a major blockage that’s hard to ignore.
In this episode, Kim Cuna and I have a conversation about these roadblocks. Kim is a rehabilitative Pilates instructor that also practices Emotion Code and other healing modalities such as Reiki and Body Code Access to assist others in their healing journeys!
In her work, Kim sees how our emotions affect our health, both mentally and physically, and she believes that healing is truly possible through the releasing of trapped emotions that hinder us from being our happiest and healthiest.
In our conversation, we discuss more about what Emotion Code and Body Code is, how it’s possible to clear away the emotions that we’re holding onto negatively, and why this is such an important topic for new moms to consider as they grow their families.

Kim started her Pilates journey after being drawn to the effectiveness it had post-pregnancy. After a few sessions, she dove into getting certified in rehabilitative Pilates to teach and educate others on how to heal the body through movement.
Learning more about the mind and body connection, she noticed how our emotions affect our health, mentally and physically. At that point, she discovered Emotion Code, releasing trapped emotions that hinder us from being our happiest and healthiest. Soon after, she became certified and has been practicing ever since.
