Welcome back to the New Mom Boss Podcast!
My guest today is a STEM mom (science - technology - engineering - math) who had to learn for herself what the work/life balance was going to look like in motherhood.
Sarah Marie Bigler is a mom of two, a wife, a mechanical engineer, and the creator of Entering Motherhood where she offers certified birth/postpartum doula services.
Her passion is to combine her engineering skillset with her motherhood mindset to empower other mothers to continue to chase their own personal aspirations and holistically heal in the postpartum period.
She longs to see women become the mothers they wish to be while still maintaining their own individual identities along the way.
We have an amazing conversation centered around Sarah’s experience returning to her job as a mechanical engineer at the end of her maternity leave. She shares both of her very different birth stories, her tips for dealing with the stress/anxiety of leaving your children at daycare, as well as why it’s so important to maintain a sense of self in motherhood.
