Welcome back to the New Mom Boss Podcast! 

 

I went into pregnancy with several misconceptions about what the motherhood experience would be like. 

 

And what’s funny is that I had seen birth before through my nursing background, and I was still shocked to learn the truth.

 

Women don’t just have misconceptions about labor and delivery, but about postpartum recovery as well.

  1. “Do what you’ve always done” is horrible exercise advice during pregnancy. 
  2. If you want a personal trainer, look for one that’s educated or certified in pregnancy/post-partum fitness.
  3. It’s up to you to speak up and ask clarifying questions.
