Welcome back to the New Mom Boss Podcast!
This episode is another collaborative conversation recorded with the one and only Julie Fernandes!
Julie is an occupational therapist and a life coach for moms, passionate about helping women feel calm, organized, and joyful in motherhood.
Both Julie and I happen to be living in some not-so-normal situations right now. I recently moved my family into my mom’s house as we await our new home renovations to be completed, and Julie is currently enjoying some lengthy traveling in Europe!
Given the abnormal circumstances we’re living in, our conversation is all about going through these irregular scenarios (moving, traveling…etc.), but doing it with little ones.
The truth is that it can be extremely challenging in and of itself. But then you add kids into the mix and wow - it’s on another level!
Together, Julie and I discuss our personal experiences and struggles as we go through these life changes, our mindset as we face the unknown, and all our best tips for getting through the rocky transitions with more ease.
Some big takeaways are:
Life sometimes throws us curveballs that we never could have predicted, and the postpartum period for new moms is no exception.
