My guest in this episode is Cara Strange, a licensed Mental Health Clinician and associate professor for one of her local colleges’ Substance Use Disorder Professionals program.
Cara has struggled with birth trauma, leaving her scarred both physically and emotionally, and suffering from postpartum anxiety and OCD.
In our conversation, Cara leads us through her story and the huge mind shifts she was required to make in an effort to heal from her postpartum OCD and be the mom she wanted to be.

Being a mom has completely shifted her mindset and outlook on motherhood and the need for support postpartum.
She loves any sort of taco, an Aperol Spritz, fashion, traveling, Beyonce, and a booty-shaking spin class! She has the best husband and friends a girl could ask for and exercises her creativity with her Instagram account @postpart_of_me_ , in hopes to connect with other moms on this crazy journey!
