Ep. 26 - Fertility and Cycle Tracking with Melissa Buchan

November 12, 2020

A lot of women don’t think much about their menstrual cycles until they’re ready to get pregnant. And if they did, they probably weren’t considering their period as a superpower. Can you relate?

As women, our bodies take us on a month-long hormonal journey of the various cycle phases, that actually acts as a health check every month. If everything is acting normal, our health is optimum, and if it’s not, something’s amiss. But if we can’t read the signs our body is giving us, this journey through our cycle may leave us feeling perplexed and frustrated.

In this episode, I speak with Melissa Buchan, an integrative health coach, and the first NEO Fertility Advisor in the U.S. She is passionate about educating women about their reproductive health, and empowering them to understand and manage their menstrual cycles, which are a woman’s superpower!

Melissa shares with us about fertility awareness, why it’s so important to learn at an early age, and her tips for tracking the menstrual cycle. She also sheds light on birth control and infertility and answers my questions about getting pregnant while breastfeeding, and the effects that stress has on our cycles.

Ladies. You do NOT want to miss out on hearing our conversation. Melissa is so knowledgeable on this subject, and is truly helping so many women take back their reproductive health. We hope that you will be one of them. If you’re curious to learn more, check out the links below!
